We are seeking a professional, reliable detail-oriented, and highly organized individual to serve as a Medical Licensing Assistant. This person will work under the supervision of the Licensing Specialist, assisting the Licensing Team members as needed, and will be an integral part of Licentiam, Inc.’s Licensing Team. Primary Responsibilities Include but are not Limited To

  • Works under the supervision of the Licensing Specialist to process and prepare new medical license applications and medical license renewals on behalf of doctors in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations, and corporate policies
  • Reviews applications, transcripts, and other required confidential documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Interface with new clients to successfully onboard (includes entering confidential client data in the Licentiam Vault; an innovative Licensing Information System)
  • Ensure applications are finalized with timeliness and accuracy
  • Interface with existing licensees to process all change notifications, including name changes, deaths, address changes of health professionals and additional expansion of licensing needs
  • Maintain continual and timely client communication, including phone calls, emails, certified mailings, faxes, etc
  • Ongoing communication with State Medical Boards and others on behalf of the client regarding statutory and regulatory licensing and certification requirements, licensee needs and application status
  • Maintains all existing and new licensee/applicant-related files in accordance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Drive and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Superior administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives with on-the-job training and not afraid to think outside of the box to address challenges in a rapidly growing business environment
  • Ability to convey initiative, drive, and a strong/proactive work ethic based on prior work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently across an organization

  • Ability to operate printers, copiers, and fax machines to file, photocopy, and scan documentation

Job Type

Full-Time. Post-training Work from Home options available for qualified candidates.

Relevant Experience Required

  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred
  • A minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience is required
  • Computer proficiency is mandatory, MS Word, MS Excel, Google Drive, etc.
  • Experience with Medical Licensing and Credential (is a plus)

Pay

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
